When is was 17 years old, I joined B&A as an apprentice. I started in the yard, servicing fittings and painting boards while gaining my scaffolding qualifications.
I was really interested in traveling and left B&A for a short period, were I worked for CAPE in the oil & gas industry, gaining vital experience. I also got the opportunity to work in Abu Dhabi on the Capital Gate.
When I returned to B&A, I felt the time was right to increase my skills and ability by becoming an Advanced Scaffolder through the CITB training scheme. I have always enjoyed erecting and dismantling scaffolding on site, however recently I really wanted a new challenge.
I have only been a Supervisor for a few weeks now, but I can’t wait to learn about Estimating, Pricing and Design Drawings. B&A have really invested in my future, and I’m looking forward to seeing what challenges the next 12 months bring.
