While in Annan I studied Secretarial Studies where I qualified with an O Grade and an H Grade (A Level in England) so I always knew I’d be looking at some sort of office based job. I worked as a night shift Receptionist at Travelodge when it was owned by Forte Hotels for five years. This gave me the chance to meet many interesting people (including celebrities!).

After 5 years doing that the opportunity arose to relocate and come and work at B&A Scaffolding Ltd. I relocated way back in February 1994 so have just completed 22 years with the Company and as it’s construction based, I suppose you could now say “I’m in with the bricks” lol. B&A are family oriented which means that we all know each other and tend to get along quite well. It’s a very easy going company and we all look out for each other which makes it a great environment to work in. There are new challenges every day and although I’ve been in the office for so long there are always new jobs to learn and different tasks to participate in.

When I have free time and get the chance to relax I like to visit the Cinema, travel, eat out, socialise with friends and any time after all that is taken up with my hobby which is card making.
